04/03/06 - Almost a year in the life of fruityBlue and what have we to bring you? - This year a lot happened, the G8 facade came to Scotland and we were there to welcome them, the clowns, the black bloc, the baby bloc all the other blocs and the autonomy to find out more information check out www.indymedia.org.uk.

- After the G8 a number of us went direct to Iceland - Europe's last remaining wilderness which is being threatened by the ultimate destruction by large pollutive heavy Industrialised multinationals - The great plan is to dam all the glacial rivers in the country causing widespread destruction to create Hydro power that will power a number of highly pollutive Alluminium smelters - stop the corruption and greed - stop the Heavy Industrialisation of Iceland www.savingiceland.org . There will be a protest/Action camp in Iceland this summer, go, check out this amazing land and do your bit.

- Dalkieth Park tree occupation was the next news worthy item for me (or was it??) but some mates had travelled to county Mayo for the Rossport Solidarity camp against Shell, another camp will be there this summer so if you can't get to Iceland!!!! Dalkieth was a tree sit against the Scottish Executive led contentious A68 bypass road scheme, this road was given planning permission before Environmental guidlines were tightened and before a number of the roads nearby had been built therefore the plans were well out of date and we will surely watch the same traffic increase on this road as all others - www.save-dalkieth-park.org.uk

- personally this year has brought a number of highs and lows which I don't have to go into on the digital screen, I broke some more bones and now have to take a real rest, I have written a lot more songs of which I am going to try and record some soon

17/04/05 - ok ok - fruityBlue has done it, I have spent some time warping my back, stressing my head and straining my eyes to finally bring you a long awaited fB update

- finally I have got some of the musical tracks that I have been working on with the foremention pikl up onto the site, check it out citizens - I have stuck them in the audio section of Poema ,

- Also have a gander at the gallery, to see some new paintings that I painted in November at 9 Ladies, Derbyshire, there are a couple more not uploaded yet but will try to get this done asap.

- the fruityBlue story can now be played with in my interactive version - see top of page!!

- I was going to get some more anime up for you as well but seriously I can't spend any more time on front of this PC at the moment - the woods are a calling, peace and love to you all, stay tuned and I will be back with you soon!

24/03/05 - What happened - moved onto another year without update!!! - ~I am sorry about this but there seemed to be a problem with my server and I have been unable to upload any information.

- Winter is passed - it wasn't quite the winter that I had thought it would be, the creative projects that I had at the start of the winter I still have now, most of the winter has been spent solitary building and I am just about built out though am looking forward to bringing huge defensive sculpture to the trees.Pictures coming soon - promise!!!

- Will get some musical tracks up here 2nd week of April, I will also display some new paintings, painted in Nov 2004 at 9 Ladies

18/09/04 - Well there is an entire summer behind us - and what a summer it has been, so what has happened in the the world of the fruityBlue? - The first half of the summer was party time - hardcore!! and then just after midsummer I broke my shoulder - that has kept me pretty much in one place since then and I think that Bilston Glen has enjoyed my company, the arm has not fully recovered yet but my itchy feet have got to me and so I am off on a great healing trek. On Equinox myself and a motley band of Bilstonites are setting off to walk through Autumn to 9 Ladies in Derbyshire - there is more to it than meets the eye and the movement will grow, watch this space.

- have been doing some recording with the Pickle and we have the rough copies of some pretty wicked tracks - we will be pulling these together early in the winter and I will try and get some samples online by Christmas - let us take you through and out of Babylon!!!

- for those that are concerned I am very happy at the moment - the entire universe is a wonderful place and I am so happy to have my little place in it

- peace and love to you all - I will make some updates and give more details of the mission south early winter - till then - RESPECT!!!

14/07/04 - phew a half summer of mahem has past behind us, never to be seen again - how many of our brain cells have gone with it??

- 9 Ladies may be on to a winning streak, the high court decision that the quarries are dormant and not active takes a bit of pressure away from us tree dwellers, the National Park will still set planning guidlines for the removal of stone and the company will probably appeal against that, we are not out of the water yet but midsummer brought a certain amount of cheer!

- Bilston Glen's green anarchist week went well and remarkably calmly giving some of us a break from the hectic summer schedule, it was decided that I needed more of a break and so I met, with sudden suprise, the ground, which has given me a pretty smashed up arm/shoulder, this means that I will probably be around Scotland for a while, if you also are and you fancy catching up eMail is probably the best method of contact!

- Did anyone catch Venus' Transit? - This is the year of Venus, we should all aparently be swimming round in the ether and falling in love!!! Plenty more fish in the sea or has overfishing been a problem in your area too???? - not a problem, these barren seas have given me plenty time to practice the guitar and a fruity new song is hot off the finger tips, "Forget the fish I'm going for the chickens!" - more to come - peace n love fB xx

18/05/04 - Hello all, thanks for popping into fruityBlue, thanks to all the regulars - hello to all in the Seychelles, the U.S Government, Spain, hello to all and thanks for your continued support through this break in the continuum! "So What has being going on I hear you all ask?" -

- Bilston Glen is still there, tucked in at the very edge of the edinburgh green belt, we are running regular free cafes but the main motion at the moment is in preparing the woods for the "Green Anarchist" week which will run from 1st - 4th of July - if you can get down to help with the preparations or to check out the week please do!

- In January this year the possesion order was won in court against the 9 Ladies anti-quarry protest site, this is a 35 acred woodland site which borders with the highly popular and historical Stanton or Dark moor in the Derbyshire Peak District National Park with its high concentration of stone circles and burial mounds. I made my way south to see what help I could be to fight off the advances of Marshalls PLC and their subsiduary Standcliffe Stone who intend to remove 3.2 million tonnes of "unique" stone and leave a great big hole to line their pockets. The defences are truly fabulous and I think, to be honest, the amount of production in the early part of this year did scare the company from rushing in. The company are now taking the Peak District National Park to court (high court hearing began today) over a decision as to whether the quarry is active or dormant, this case will set a precident, there are a large amount of further dormant quarries that the company want to open up. It has been quite difficult to find the place or time to be able to update this web site from up my tree, sorry about that guys.

- It is the year of the Monkey - what a better time to be anarchistically swinging around in the trees and what a better way to get into the groove of the tree project, feel free to join in - Mansfield Wood House Green, in the heart of what was Sherwood forest is under imminent danger of being turned into a wider junction by Bellway Homes, 9 Ladies in the heart of derbyshire could not just do with greater numbers but is also gorgeous, visit Edinburgh without the cost - Bilston Glen, Thornbough Henge in Yorkshire is also under threat of quarrying by Tarmac - check it out on www.roadalert.org.uk

14/11/03 - It was my birthday last week and for it I was given the beautiful gift of confirmation, I find myself on the right path, something I have been suspisious of all along but was made fearfull by the minute by minute distractions of society and history.

- I began to paint a picture, activated by children and inspired by all the artforms, ether art and poetry that has come from within me during this lifetime, see the picture here, more paintings will follow -

25/09/03 - THANKYOU to all the festival people, thankyou to all the people, i love you, you help me find myself.

- Things are coming together, it is beautiful, the tree project is beginning to get underway, I have some filming dates with Fapp Films to get part 1 looking up, fingers crossed for good weather! I have also thanks to Andy Dwyer I have begun to collect other tree poems etc to help me coallate a book, if you are interested in subscribing please get in touch.

- BILSTON WOODS - This is an ancient glen and an important wildlife SSSI and is threatened by destruction by the imminent road construction of a planned new road, parallel to the existing A701 , YOUR WOODS NEED YOU, there is a protest site inhabiting the glen and has been for over a year but the time is now, show your support - more info

05/09/03 - Well the Edinburgh Festival is now well and truelly over, during this time I performed at over 10 venues up to 9 times a day, needless to say not all performances were peachy, it was good, now though I am tired. I need now to take stock and altough I wanted to get as far away from Edinburgh as possible the tree project needs to get underway, to do a good thing and to kick start myself I am off to live in a tree house, catch you soon - peace - fruityBlue xx
